• North Coast, California, USA; A vintage sparkling wine made in the traditional method, as in Champagne. Schramsberg is the first producer of Blanc de Noir sparkling wine in America since 1967.
• Small lots of hand harvested Pinot Noir from the best cool-climate vineyards of Nor Cal undergo partial malolactic and barrel-fermentation. The wine is expertly blended and aged on the yeast lees in the bottle for almost two years prior to disgorgement.
• Generous aromas of peach, toasted almond and fresh red apple, which layer with fragrances of strawberry, citrus blossom and marzipan. A dry, lively and balanced acidity gives way to a clean, fresh and mouthwatering floral and mandarin orange finish.
• Schramsberg Vineyards Blanc de Noirs is particularly well-suited to serve with a variety of foods, including soft and nutty cheeses, macadamia nut-crusted halibut and pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary and lemon thyme.
